The Light Salon Has Launched The Easiest At-Home LED Mask Ever

With a waiting list that hasn’t stopped growing (and concerns that the amount released on launch day wouldn’t even cover that), The Light Salon’s at-home LED Mask Boost is a piece of beauty tech that’s going to change the way we mask.

Why? Firstly, it’s the first LED mask that’s flexible. Made from a soft silicone, it not only makes it completely portable – you can now LED mask on the plane – it fits your face better than stiff, hard, plastic alternatives.

You can also walk around with it if you need to, making it easier to fit into your skincare regime and everyday routine. It automatically switches off after the recommended 10 minutes and the portable battery, like a small portable phone battery pack, is easily charged (they even provide global plug adapters – genius for travel, on-the-go charging).

You can use it before, mid or after your normal skincare – it’s probably one of the easiest ways to get refreshed, plumped and hydrated skin in an instant.

Now, here comes the techy bit. Like the in-salon machines, the mask uses clinically proven wavelengths of Red and Near Infra-red lights which help with wrinkles, hydration and firmness.

The Light Salon’s co-founders, best friends Laura Ferguson and Hannah Measures, made sure the lights are crystal clear, some LED bulbs can be manufactured poorly which has an impact on the delivery.

In short, the Boost gives the optimal dose and absorption of light so that, even though it’s not the same power as the professional machines in-salon, if you use the mask three times a week over a four-week period, it delivers the equivalent cumulative dose of light as one salon treatment if you went once a week for the same period. We’re sold.
